Flatline Van Co. Bed System | Mercedes Sprinter 144", 170" & 170" EXT (Standard 3-Panel or Flarespace 2-Panel)
Replace a saggy plywood bed with a rock-solid aluminum platform. Mount it at the height you want to create a garage underneath for bikes and gear, and lift the panels out or stack them when you need the space. Both versions work with a DIY mount or the Adventure Wagon interior kit.
- 3/16" laser-cut, formed aluminum panels with a black powder coat
- 12ga powder-coated steel bed rails with multiple hole options for fine-tuning height
- L-track cut-outs in every panel let you hang gear underneath, like an upside-down roof rack
- Large hand cut-outs make the panels easy to carry and let the mattress breathe to reduce trapped moisture
- Panels lift out or stack onto the rear panel to open up space
- DIY mounting up to 47" high, or bolts to Adventure Wagon interior kits
Choose your style
- Standard 3-Panel (SP0301B), $2,350: sleep front-to-back. Set it up as 72" or 75" long (for taller sleepers) by 65.5" wide.
- Flarespace 2-Panel (SP0304B), $2,250: sleep sideways in a van with Flarespace or Vanspeed Capsules. 60" long by 65.5" wide, or 66" long with the FVC Flare Trim Extension Brackets.
Recommended add-ons: the FVC Sprinter Bed Brackets aren't required, but they add structural support and let you mount the bed higher than the window cavity. Add the FVC Bed Bracket L-Track Kit for adjustable bed height.
From owners: buyers call it rock solid, with no flex, rattles or noise. It's a real DIY project with plenty of work involved, so double-check your measurements before mounting. One Adventure Wagon owner trimmed the rear bracket with a cutoff wheel for extra clearance, and another found the L-track bolts a little fiddly to adjust.
