Flatline Van Co. Standard Roof Rack | Mercedes Sprinter 144", 170" & 170" EXT High Roof (Normal or Light Bar Fairing)

An adjustable, lightweight roof rack for the high-roof Sprinter. It's wider than the FVC Low Pro, so you have more room for solar panels and rooftop tents, and it costs less than half as much as the FVC Safari Rack. It bolts to the factory or aftermarket roof rails and installs DIY with hand tools.

• All-aluminum side rails and crossbars with stainless steel hardware and stainless pucks
• 7 (144") or 9 (170" and 170" EXT) adjustable crossbars, 10-series anodized aluminum with drop-in hardware slots. Slide them anywhere to clear fans and A/C units. Extra crossbars are sold separately.
• 6.5" tall side rails (taller than the Low Pro) let you recess solar panels and other rooftop gear
• L-track compatible mounting points on the side rails for strapping down surfboards and kayaks
• Aluminum front wind fairing included to help keep your van fuel efficient with gear loaded. The 170" EXT also has an optional rear fairing.
• Awning ready: fits the Fiamma F45S (144"), F45S 350/400 (170") or F45S 400 (170" EXT), plus other wall-mount awnings
• Works with many rooftop tents (check your tent's dimensions). The 170" EXT has 53.4" of usable width.
• Fits FVC Sprinter side ladders. The 144" rack includes a removable hatch for a side ladder.
• Takes FVC Universal Decking Panels.

Choose your fairing

• Normal Fairing: SP0114B (144"), SP0115B (170") or SP0125B (170" EXT)
• 50" Light Bar Cutout: a notched fairing that fits most 50" LED light bars, such as the Baja Designs OnX6 50" Arc. SP0128B (144"), SP0127B (170") or SP0126B (170" EXT). Light bar NOT included.

Install tips from owners: reported install times run from a few hours to 6+ hours for a first-timer with average DIY skills. Use two ladders, one on each side, and a second person makes it easier. One owner found no instructions in the box, so download the install guide below before the rack arrives.

Standard Rack or Safari Rack? Choose the Standard for adjustable crossbars at the lowest weight and price. Choose the FVC Safari Rack if you want a full deck you can sit on, a rooftop tent platform or a drop front for lights. You can also add FVC Universal Decking Panels to the Standard later for a partial or full deck.

Pairs with FVC Universal Decking Panels, solar panel mounting brackets, the High Bar Kit, the Fiamma F45S awning and a Baja Designs 50" light bar. Our Utah shop can install the rack along with solar, light bar and awning wiring. Ask us for an install quote.
