S&B 45 Gallon Long Range Fuel Tank | Mercedes Sprinter 144" & 170" 2019-2026, Storyteller, Winnebago EKKO

Nearly double your Sprinter's range. The S&B 45 gallon tank is a plug-and-play replacement for the factory 24 gallon fuel tank. It mounts in the stock location (with one added rear strap) and uses your OE sending unit, and it doesn't stick out any farther toward the driver side than the original tank.

Fitment

• Mercedes Sprinter 144" and 170": 2019–2022 (3.0L diesel), 2023–2026 (2.0L diesel)
• Storyteller Overland Mode 4x4: Classic & Beast Mode 2020–2026, Stealth Mode 2021–2026
• Storyteller Mode XO: fits 2026+, or 2024–2025 vans where seat brace recall #25V-070 was performed or doesn't apply
• Winnebago: Navion & View 2020–2024, Adventure Wagon 70 2022–2023, EKKO 2025–2026
• Pleasure-Way Rekon 4x4: 2022–2023

Will NOT fit

• 144" dually vans
• 170" crew vans (1 row of seats)
• Vans with plumbing or equipment within 24" of the rear of the OEM tank, or 19" of the rear of the large rear cross-member

Don't fit? Choose the shorter S&B 40 gallon tank: 10-1027 for 2019–2022 vans or 10-1032 for 2023+ vans.

Fuel gauge & range

• The fuel gauge reads accurately only on vans with the J51 fuel gauge option. Ask your Mercedes dealer if your van has it. If not, add the S&B Fuel Capacity Recalibration Module (TI1527-00), which also corrects your distance-to-empty reading.
• The gauge stays on full for the first 5–7 gallons, then moves normally.
• Without the recalibration module, distance-to-empty still calculates from the stock 24 gallon capacity.
• The auxiliary fuel tap stops drawing at about 1/3–1/2 tank (vs. 1/4 tank on stock).
• Using an auxiliary transfer/gravity-feed fuel tank with an S&B tank voids the lifetime warranty.
